5 ways to wear a scarf

The go to accessorie for most women this time of year is the fashionable and functional scarf. With all the different styles of scarves available today it's hard to know how to wear them. Here's a couple of my favorite go to ways to style this timeless extra.
This is the way I weary scarves most often. Just a simple wrap around the neck and adjust to the length you want it. It's an easy way to turn a scarf into a statement piece and tie together an outfit.
This is my favorite option to keep myself warm, which is where the functional part of a scarf comes in. Plus the little knot is such a cute touch.
Infinity scarves are the latest trend but you don't necessarily have to buy an Infiniti scarf. Tying the ends together and looping them is a good way to give n old favorite new life.
This is probably my favorite way to wear a scarf. It's casual, cute and adds layers to an outfit. This works better with small thinner scarves but it works with any size. My favorite part about it is that you can add a necklace to the look and it just adds a little interest.

I love to style fall looks because I love to layer! That's an important skill as a fashion conscious woman and as a Midwesterner ;)! This is how I styled my scarf today just a single loose knot and a denim jacket.

Paris Fashion Week

New York fashion week just wrapped up here in the states but I personally always look forward to seeing the collections that come out of Paris fashion week. Not only is this the preferred venue for most of the very successful high end designers, it also gives a good indication of what will be trending in the next couple seasons in America.

Although these designers are no where near my ideal price point, one of my favorite past times drooling is over their meticulous craftsmanship and eloquently put together collections. Among my favorite collections for Summer/Spring 2015 were the legendary houses of Givenchy, Chanel and Valentino. Whether it was the bondage inspired, leather clad model herd of Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy, the Valentino power house duo of Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli with a whopping 79 looks, or the march for Feminine Feminist that characterized Karl Lagerfield's house of Chanel, these designers had me drooling by the end and parched for more.

Here's a list of my personal favorite moments

1. Ocean inspired, mermaid goddess run of beaded masterpieces- Valentino
1. Thigh high, skin tight, leather peep toed boots- Givenchy
3. Metallic Gold Waist belts and flat open toed weave dress shoes- Chanel
