Wire wrapping

Recently I've taken up making jewelry. I have so much creative energy that I need a physical outlet and this has been a great way to express it, especially with the holidays. I've mostly been working with copper wire as a preferred textile and using Crystals and leather as the decorative component. I like wire wrapping because it is cost effective, you can teach yourself and you can constantly get better and make more intricate designs. I have only made about 10 pieces total and can already see a big improvement on how I'm able to handle the material. I encourage everyone to try it out if you're interested in making jewelry! All you really need is a thicker wire so it doesn't break ( I use size 18 for most things ) a jewelry pliers to help you manipulate the wire and a needle nose to help you finish pieces by clamping them right!
This is a ring it wears very cool
I actually made a lot more but wet only able to get photos of a couple. More to come!
