Girls night out

A night on the town
Details

Date night

Red tights, gold accessories and a pair of camel colored ankle boots makes this the perfect warm weather date night outfit.

Denim on denim

This is how you do this trend the right way. You want to make sure you choose two different washes of denim to avoid looking like a cabbage patch doll. The other thing you want to remeber is that accessories are key to breaking up a denim on denim look and making it interesting. I would pair this outfit with a chocolate brown pair of riding boots with gold accents.

Beautiful bag, perfect price point!

Normally I tend to spend a little bit more and splurge on big name bags. To me a bag is an investment piece and I have found that they are worth the extra cash if you want to keep one for a couple of years. As far as style I usually find myself more drawn to the more expensive bags as well so I was surprised to find a cheaper option that I fell imidieately in love with.
I found this little gem at JC penny for $50! It's by a line called "call it spring". They produce a ton of trendy affordable styles and Ive always had good luck in the past with their footwear as far as quality and durability. For me it's all about the details when it comes to handbags and this one is exception. It features a large bucket with plenty of room for all your lady goodies. There is also a cross body strap option which is perfect for shopping or on the go and something I look for in all the bags I purchase. My favorite feature is the gold fixtures which adds a ton of extra appeal. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase! Best $50 I've spent in a long time

Fresh powder

I have always been so proud of where I grew up, right in the heart land of America. Here in South Dakota what we lack in diversity we make up for in heart. I have always struggled to find my place in this flat, seeming culturally stagnant state. I struggled for many years to fit in untill I realized it was my resistence to conformity that would set me free. The way I express my independence comes across most in my personal style. This next series is a celebration of my original style and freedom. This is the finished product of a styling collaboration with a colleague and close friend of mine, Amy Berry. We call it, High fashion in low places.
Enjoy!
We're no strangers to fur around these parts.
Bring me that horizon.
